I developed a cramp in my calf muscle the other day while partway through my run. It happened last year on a fundraising walk I did - I know the culprit there was dehydration. but last year's was from the foot to butt cheek cramp and the therapists worked it out for me.
anyway...now there is a HUGE knot where the cramp was, and I cannot seem to make the pain go away.
any tips or hints or tricks? today's a rest day so I'm not going to push it.
I have been massaging it and doing heat/cold therapy. but OW.
Can't let this sideline me, I've been doing really good keeping going and I don't want to quit! I'm about to start W3 tomorrow....
