My favorite male snowboarder is Terje Håkonsen, a Norwegian snowboarder, who definitely knows how to rip it up out there. He's been around for a while and is definitely a leader in the industry.  His documentary, First Decent, is amazing and he carves down one of the steepest peaks I've ever seen. I'm also a big fan of Shaun White, because he's fun and good for the sport.

As for my favorite female snowboarder, I would have to say Tara Dakides. In my opinion, she is the best of the best and has really made a name for herself in the industry.  She even gives the boys a run for their money!
