The Sprint Tri I am doing in two months is a reverse Tri, with the swimming being the last event.
I am a decent swimmer and am comfortable with swimming in the Gulf. For my training, I have been just running, biking and swimming and every once in a while I do a Wii Active workout.
A friend of mine who is an experienced, competitive swimmer said that since I am swimming after running and biking, my legs will be dead tired and I will need to use a lot of arm power to get through the swim. Is that fairly correct info?
Should I add upper body workouts into my training?
