Hybrid recreational riding club in Arlington/Alexandria area?

I have a new Fuji hybrid and like to ride the WO&D trail, but would like to ride w others to learn more trails in the area. Does anyone know of a non competitive ride for fun group in No VA?

There is always the Potomac Pedalers www.bikepptc.org

They have a lot of rides and they rate how fast/what type of ride each one of them are. The Mt. Vernon trail is good along with the C&O Canal trail although they can get busy during peak hours.
