The course was great.  All the water stops were well-managed.  I'm already signed-up for the New Orleans event in October and will be back for the Pensacola Beach run next spring.  GREAT RACE!

Beautiful course, great water stations, the patrons at the water stations were awesome.  The finishing medal was one of a kind.  Will definately do it next year.  Look forward to the Pensacola Marathon in November.  This race was awesome, will be tough to beat.

This was a very well organized race. The mile markers and water stops were wonderful. I love the energy that each water stop displayed. It really helped to give you that boost you needed to keep going. When I first started I thought this might be the same course as the Pensacola 1/2 back in January. You all did a great job making it different and scenic.  I thought the finish line was so nice. The American Flags and droves of people cheering you on was so awesome. The medal was creative and really cool. I like the fact that you had a person there to take a picture with the Gulf Coast 1/2 Marathon logos in the back. I hope you all do this race again.

loved this race with the exception of the one thing the race director couldn't control...the wind!  those winds had to be at least 20 mph right by the water.  it was horrible!  but otherwise, a great race.  really loved the water stops, esp. the one with the biker chick spraying runners with a hose!  that felt great close to the end!  the weather was nice, except for the wind.  post-race party and food were good, too.  i hope to do the next race down in mandeville, la in october. 

For a 1st year race - these guys did an AMAZING job!  Great course, huge mile marker signs, great water stops.  Pre and post race logistics all were smooth.  I was a bit bummed with a cotton t-shirt, but at least it's a good looking t-shirt!  Post race party was in an absolutely perfect spot - back deck of a restaurant that leads right out onto Bay-side beach, and a playground for the kids!  I would have liked more food options.  My only other slight dislike was the zigzag at the finish.

All in all, a great race and I look forward to racing it lots more years to come!!!

Great race!  The weather was fantastic, the organization at the start and finish was super, and the after-. race party could not have been better.  The course was not a "fast" one, with a couple of switchbacks, but there was no interference with oppposing runners that you see in some races.  A little bummed that there was no coverage in the local paper the next day...?  Overall a great race, looking forward to next year and others in the series.
