Those Pesky Bugs

Hi everyone,

The mosquitos have been tearing me to pieces the past week or two out on my runs.  Any suggestions for bug repellant that doesn't sweat off or stink?

Sorry to say bug that stinks is working!!!

I run early in the morning to stay away from them But when I was stationed in Beaufort, SC  I used baby oil and skin so soft mixed to keep the Sand fleas away and from biting me.... Dont know if it would work for running, but it didnt stink either...

    Hope this can help....

I'm also a summer victim and would love unstinky suggestions. More than mosquitos, I've been tortured by green head and black flies here in New England during July and August even when I'm wearing high powered super stinky bug spray.  If anyone has a suggestion for that, I'd love ya forever .

Plan your run and then run your plan.

I learned that black flies usually won't follow you if you're going 6min/mile or faster

If that's not an option, early morning running is your best option.  If you can't beat them, avoid them.  Also, insect repellent clothing is becoming popular.  Try
