9 weeks ago I did not think I would like running! My first few weeks of the program I had to make myself get out there and do it. Eventually I got through it despite the weather and ran my very 1st 5K on April 17, 2010 at the First Flight 5K in Kill Devil Hills, NC. The experience was challenging, but I am SO happy I did it! At the time I wasn't quite done with my training because of weather delays and I still am going back and repeating weeks to build up my endurance, but I am sticking with it! I feel great and have lost about 15 lbs, which is a lot for me because of a health issue. I have been recommending this program and have about 5 friends accross the country who have started the program!!
