Slum Run/Walk 5K - May 22, 2010 - 8:00am - Red Bug Lake Park

Support World Hope as they send a group to the Hope Center in the  Kawangare Slum of Nairobi, Kenya by participating in the Slum Run 5K.  All proceeds will benefit World Hope and those participating in the  building projects and medical clinics that will take place at the Hope  Center in June 2010.  For more information on World Hope, please visit http://www.weareworldhope.com.

Race packets can be picked up at Red Bug Lake Park the day of the race  from 7am until 7:45am OR you can register online at http://www.psdbc.net/slumrun OR you can print off a registration form here: http://www.psdbc.net/pdf/5k_registration.pdf

Cost is $25 for adults ages 12+. $10 for children ages 5-11. Prizes will  be awarded to the top finishers in different age brackets.

Complementary water and fruit will be available. All participants  receive a free shirt.

The race will begin at 8am.
