Posterior tibial tendon insufficiency

Anyone experience this?  Any advice or things I should know before I head off to the podiatrist?  Mind you, I HATE podiatrists as my experience with them has never been good.  But the ortho says it is the place to be.

    It is interesting that the Orthopedic Surgeon recognized that your problem did not require surgery, and that apparently he referred you to a Podiatrist for non-surgical managment.  Take a look at this short article Who you going to call - Choosing a Health Care Professional. Depending on where you live a Physical Therapist is another possiblity for non surgical managment of a foot ankle problem.  Go to Find a PT.
