While they would proably mesh together pretty well, what nash needs is a tougher big man to build chemistry with, the reason amare is questioned as the best option is because his lack of defense and rebounding, replacing him with Dirk will only make things worse in that category. They would do well in the regular season though.
couldn't agree with you more. A big defensive player is what Steve Nash needs. Trust me, I'm a Phoenix fan and they REALLY would do well with a solid defensive big man. and btw, congrats on post #200 malik18
I am a Phoenix fan too Rumors have benn swerling Dirk could take Less Money and If Nash convencies him. If Stat goes then we won't get him and Dirk can Shoot Three-Pointers that Helps and Leondro Barbosa could leave. Thanks for a good answer congrats 200 Post Malik.
i think this could be a terrific move if the suns are looking for championships. dirk is in his prime and steve nash career is slowly coming to an end.
I say yes because their already great players and they would be even better if they would play together.
If the reunite could bring both Dirk and Steve Nash championship rings, I'm totally agree with this idea.
Don't think he should. Is my graph:
|The Good||The Bad|
|1. He would have a excelling point guard to help with anything.||He would leave an scoring AND passing PG.|
|2. He would have a good a starting lineup||But he would bump a player OFF the starting 5|
|3. He would lead Phoenix (in his contract period) to Finals.||He would have to play to many minutes like in Dallas.|
I don't know what Dirk should do because he is Dirk. Most likely, he doesn't care what people want him to do because it's his choice. You guys will probaly only have a 5% percuase voice to free agents like LeBron.
