Thank you for all the well wishes for my DH.
Justrundan: not surprising that hubby stayed 'cool' and calm during the early stages of the 'attack' and then calling me AFTER he was taken care of ......... but it was tough to hear being so far away.
We are all grateful that he made it through. He shared with me that he was more pissed than scared that it was happening to him NOW; funny how we react when we do get to personally experience such close call incidents.
girlintheorchard: He's recovering very well, in fact, doc gave him the ok to resume work today with an emphasis on a lighter schedule of patients.
Great to see him back to his old self with renewed determination to maintain a healthier lifestyle from now on.
Tried another health club yesterday.
10 minutes elliptical.
10.1 miles on TM, 1:40, using the even stephen running guide.
5 minutes cycle.
15 minutes core exercises.
Got very crowed and busy after 3 pm.
Club has nice updated machines but lacks space for personal belongings which are kept in open cubby holes or on racks by narrow entrance.
Only 2 restrooms to change in, with one shower room to be use for both M and F.
Classes in the afternoons. Staff consist of only 2 individuals and only at certain hours.
Pros: close to home and 24/7 with other sites around the country.
WDWRich: just need to become good friend with the TM for now but I prefer trail running; but I'm good an zoning out when on the TM and just get my miles in with different workouts.
Snow still around with icy roads so not taking any chances on running outside even on balmy days of 14 degrees!! Below zero temps overnights.
