Yeah I dig videos. It's so much easier and more interesting than reading an article. Props to you guys for taking the time to do it.

Did anyone catch the St. Ignatius/Glenville game last week? Siiiiick!

St. Ignatius Wildcats got by the Glenville Tarblooders, 8-7, which was a surprisingly low scoring game I thought, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t interesting.

Glenville had beaten St. Ignatius in the season opener, 20-17; however playoffs are always a completely different ball game.

I want to call out Scott McVey, the dynamic linebacker for St. Ignatius, who wrapped up quarterback Terrance Owens, about 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage to assure the Wildcats’ victory. Owens attempted to throw, but it was picked off by St. Ignatius cornerback Tom Hunt. Huge play!

Also, Seamus Hennessey kicked a 37-yard field goal with 6:11 left to play and put St. Ignatius a head 8-7. Way to handle the pressure there.

The Tarblooders were ranked first in Ohio and eighth nationally in the ESPN Rise Fab 50; the Wildcats were fifth in the state and 17th by ESPN. St. Ignatius was able to drop one of the best teams in Ohio. Congrats.

As of today, SportsPower has Glenville falling to eighth in Ohio and in the Nat’l Mega ratings while St. Ignatius jumps to second in Ohio and seventeenth in the Nat’l Mega ratings.

Now the Wildcats (11-1) will gone on to play the Strongsville Mustangs (11-1) on November 15th at St. Ignatius. As of now, St. Ignatius is rated above the Mustangs, but as we’ve seen already – it’s anyone’s game in playoffs.

So let's hear it...who is moving on this week...the Wildcats or the Mustangs?

Yeah sounds like a crazy game. I just read about it, didn't see it and watched the highlights. I got this video from the H.S. Football News Page on Cleveland.com. They have good stuff.

Anyone else think the St. Ignatius/Strongville game would have been closer?

I was stunned at the 37-0 win. I expected St. Ignatius to win but not by that big of a margin. The weather played a factor I think. It slowed down both passing games considerably. St. Ignatius was able to run the ball well and their defense was on point also playing extremely well.

They'll face North Canton Hoover next who I think they should get by pretty easily. Hoover hasn't seen a defense like this yet.

DI - St. Ignatius and Pickerington both win. St. Ignatius is nasty.

DII - Hoban and Cols. DeSales both win. Hoban is rolling and is the team to beat.

DIII - Aurora and Newark Licking Valley both win. Thought Aurora would be playing Avon but things happen. Aurora coach has his team ready to play.
