I'm a 12+ min mile Galloway runner who is bouncing back from surgery and starting to train for Feb 20th Austin 1/2 Marathon in 2011. I plan to resume running with a friend of mine on the weekends, but would like to run with someone once or twice a week too to keep me honest.
I'm a touch sensitive to heat so am aiming for later in the evening say between 6-7pm. I may be a bit extra slow off the blocks for the next few weeks but am feeling so much better with the passing of each day.
I also belong to 24 Hour Fitness so treadmills and crosstraining are options too. (Lifting may resume in early August).
Looking to have this going in a more or less regular routine by mid August.
