Earlier this year when I was training for my spring marathon, I started developing knee pain during my long runs.  I recently saw an orthopedist, who diagnosed me with "roughening of the knee cartilage" and mild osteoarthritis.  He wants to treat it with a Synvisc-One injection.  So I'd like to hear from anyone who has had this injection.  I'd like to know if you thought it was effective in treating your knee symptoms.
