Crap, Im sitting here exhausted, just home from work at almost 8PM, Im hungry, I have a headache, and its HOT and HUMID out, and my training plan calls for 9 hard miles today, 7 of them at hard race tempo pace. Sh&t! Have a nice evenin' folks, Im off for 81 minutes of hell.....

This was a rest day for me. I've got 3,6,13 and 3 over the next four days.

Thingmabobby, I originally had you at a + handicap, its corrected now. It would be helpful if everyone could just check their own handicap to make sure it looks right. Your PR +/- your handicap should equal the average PR.
I will also keep this on a dedicated page on my blog so you don't have to keep hunting through this thread for it.

Against all odds I finished 9 miles tonight. That was grueling. For the first 6 miles I was singing Hendrix's song 'If 6 was 9' thinking Im done at 6 tonight. But screw that, MAN UP YO!!, so I slogged on. Apparently my phone was tired too cause it shut off at 7.57 miles haha.
Bird: Today was supposed to be my day off too, but tommorrow AM early is our VP's staff meeting and afternoon our departments annual golf outing. Knowing how those go Ill miss the am and be too fried in the pm so I sucked it up tonight and got it done. This Sunday is 18 for me and this week is a 41 miler. You?

I added you to the list of entrants on the other thread and added your info to the race chart.
Having a real speed demon in the mix had an interesting effect on the handicaps.
I think you should go for a nice leisurely swim the day before your race.

PS: Let us know how the Peroneus-ectomy goes. I once dehooked a deeply barbed fishing hook from myself by clipping it off at the tie loop and shoving it all the way through, poking a new hole , and out with a pair of plyers. Its amazing how strong human skin is, I was pushing HARD on the pliers to get it to jam through. My family was floored watching me, haha.
