I'm glad that I'm not the only one tired of seeing posting for marathon and half marathon bibs for Houston! I keep thinking what a neat idea it was for them to add the message boards to the marathon website, but the bib thing kind of backfired so nobody is actually talking about the race.

What I can't understand is given the fact that they quickly recognized the demand they're facing and have essentially capped the price, why they didn't internalize the process, create a waiting list and simply fill slots as they opened in order of the request. Seems like it would create a lot less confusion that way.

Now if only I had something interesting to say that's NOT about the bibs...but I don't:-)
